Caramel Milkshake

It is truely amazing how nature will mesmerise us with her power, beauty and surprising fury.

Last week, the massive east coast low that battered the coastline causing huge amounts of damage to property and lives also gave photographers the rare oppourtunity to document the almost unquantifiable energy.

Curiously, a simple ziplock bag over my camera and healthy amount of motivation enabled me to get some fascinating moments (see below) amongst the chaos.

The backwash of the waves against the rocks mixed with the relentless wind and swell combined to create a surreal mix, the colours and texture of this of saltwater, stormwater and debris providing the subject for this photographic project.

Bathing in the glow of a super moon... .. .

Last nights "super moon" was fairly well publicised in the media, for those willing to brave the winter temperatures, the reward was sublime.

Icy rays of reflected sunlight blanketed the earth, its quality, both unique and alluring.

Several hours by the ocean produced a few nice images,  I will post a selection to the site once edited. In the meantime here is one that stood out immediately.
